Is Tack Attack a ripoff of Flappy Bird?

All my friends are addicted to a new game for iPhone called Tack Attack but I personally can't get into it, I think it's just another ripoff of Flappy Bird. Yes I know there are tons of Flappy Bird clones out there but this one is different because there's no bird and no pipes, so my friends are arguing that Tack Attack is not a ripoff of Flappy Bird. They are that adamant about it.

Do any of you like Tack Attack? I think it's a new game but everyone at my university is playing it and getting addicted… But I can't see what the big deal is. Isn't it just a ripoff of Flappy Bird, which everyone already played to death?
