Is the Evasi0n jailbreak safe?
I was just wondering if the evasi0n jailbreak had any negative consequences with the speed or anything of my device. I love my iPhone and my iPad and I don't want anything to impact their performance or reliability. The reason I'm jailbreaking is because I just feel a little restricted with the options that Apple gives me. And if I do end up jailbreaking, is there any software on Cydia that I should avoid that has a negative consequence on my device? Thanks! Any feedback welcome!

It won't have any negative consequences. I've jailbroken all 3 of my devices with evasion and I LOVE IT. You should definitely do it! If you want to jailbreak the right way, here's a step by step tutorial on how to do it:

I have not had any issues with my jailbreak nor have any of my friends. No issues with service, call quality or reliability, no crashing or any problems at all so far. I have jailbroke every iPhone I have owned with minimal problems. If you do decide to jailbreak I recommend avoiding cracked apps and making sure what you do install is compatible with whatever iOS version you are using. I personally stay away from repos that didn't come with Cydia, the minimal problems I did have were caused by apps I downloaded from additional sources. If you do decide to jailbreak and you decide it's not for you, you can always restore you iPhone then restore from backup and everything will return to stock.

I tried it. My ipod is really slow and the battery only lasts about 20 minutes. I can't go on YouTube and my date and time settings always go back to Jan 11 1974. I don't suggest you do it!

- Unthethered jailbreak for ios 7.0.4 that isn't evasi0n? I've been having nothing but problems with trying to download evasi0n7 to my iPhone 4. It goes through all the steps until the last reboot, then it reboots and says to unlock my phone even though it is already unlocked, so I touch the evasi0n app and it freezes my phone on a white screen.
