Is the iPhone 5s still worth getting in 2015? Is it getting obsolete?
My mom might be considering on getting me an iPhone, but she said that i Can't get a 6. She might be getting me a 5s instead. I don't know when yet though. How many years will Apple support software updates? It is already almost two years old and is it still a worth getting?
Alot will still be using iphone 5S in 2 years, and really once you use it 2 years and your contract is up, its basically free to get a new contract and trade it in (assuming its not damaged, iphones hold their value really well).
Well it is going to be obsolete soon, but actually it's the best iphone (price to quality) at the moment so I would get.
The 5s should be fine for the next couple of years as far as updates
- Will iOS5 become obsolete soon? So I'm planning to buy a second hand iPhone 3Gs and I'll probably have it on iOS6 already. But I want to know how long apple will keep supporting iOS5/6 so that this phone doesn't go useless.
- Why is my iPhone 3g obsolete? I have had this phone for quite some time, and I understand they want you to get the iphone 4 or 5 but I don't really have the money or want to spend it on a new one when my old one works as far as calls and texting etc… But no apps work, one by one they are starting to fail, won't load, etc. I had instagram since I got my phone and it stopped working and I'm very annoyed with Apple!
- When will the iPhone 4S become obsolete? I was wondering when the iPhone 4S will become truly obsolete. I can't afford a new model, so considering that it will be supporting the new iOS 8, how long should it take for Apple to stop pushing updates to it and seize production of this model?
- Is the iPhone 5s still relevant in 2015? I plan on switching to iphone, I have a galaxy s6 right now but hear me out, I want an iphone but don't want to spend too much money, once I get one IIm going to give the galaxy to my mother, is the iphone 5s still worth it?
