Is the iPhone 6 really worth it? - 2

So I had my eyes glued to the iPhone 6. Today, I went to my phone carrier's stores and they said in order to get an iPhone 6, I need to get a platinum plan which is like $80 a month which I can't afford. My other choice is get the iPhone 5s but it's also the same thing. I also had a choice to get an iPhone 5c for $250 and get a data plan that is $45 a month. The thing though is that it's *GB but to buy a 16GB would a cost a few more bucks. So my choice right now it basically the iPhone 5c but my parents said I should just wait? They said that by Christmas time, the plans would go lower, is that true?

Normally all cell phone carriers run promotional plans and bundles to get people to buy during the Holidays and the first of the year. All the carriers do Cyber Monday offerings on the website. And you can bet there will be all sorts of Black Friday lures to bring people into the retail stores, like Walmart, Best Buy and Frys.

Well these girls in my school smashed their iphone 5s to get the 6. I myself is getting a iphone 6 though. Some people say to just get the iphone 5s is better. But in my eyes I think it would be best to get the newer phone since it's out and any phones that was out before the 6 will be even more out dated in a year or two. It is true that during Christmas time they promote "better deals" but really a lot of people will be buying the iphone 6 at that time so you are probably going to have to wait for shipping. I would say but the iphone 6 from Apple store with no contract (it cost $700-1000 depending on the storage) and get a cheap plan with no contract I currently have the iphone 5s well waiting for my 6 to ship in and I have $30 monthly plan, and I'm keeping the same plan for the 6. (Btw I'm not promoting the company but if you want to know the company I'm with fido) anyways I think this way is the cheapest plus you can switch phone companies any time.

The other option is to buy the iPhone outright off-contract for $650 and then get whatever cellphone plan you want (or none at all, if you're happy just using Wi-Fi). In the long run it's cheaper than getting a subsidized phone on a contract.

  • What's a Really Really good case for a iPhone? So I had to get a new iPhone 5 because the lock button broke & I had accidentally dumped coffee on it. So I had purchased a new one & I want to be VERY careful with it. Does anyone know of any really good cases to keep it safe? Price doesn't matter.
  • Is The iPhone Really Worth The Price? Okay. So I'm getting the iPhone soon but I was wondering is it really worth the price. Like what are some of the best features that come with iPhone and what do you like and dislike about it? Or any additional information that you think I should know about it.
