Is there a program that will allow me to use iphone and android apps on Windows 8?

There are a ton of apps on the iphone that I would love to use but there's no way I can afford even a used one to do so. I just bought a windows 8 laptop and was wondering if there's some sort of platform or program that will "convert" iphone/adroid apps to use them in windows?

Added (1). I found and installed BlueStacks. Had a little problem while installing it so I'm currently wiping and trying again. Seems to be a Samsung tablet or phone emulator. Whenever I tried to download apps though I got an error message. I believe it could be from something I did wrong during installation so I'm hoping when I finish it will work.

Only if you use an IPad emulator. It's called IPadian. But I think you can't use the appstore.

I don't think so. The closest I can think of is a VMware virtual machine running Android, but I'm afraid it's not what you're looking for.
You're out of luck with the iPhone too. It's very hard to run iOS on a Windows Box.
You may try and find Windows versions but don't get your hopes too high.
If you really really want those apps you should consider switching to iPhone/iPad.

There's no converter that I know of, but you can emulate many devices now. Try searching for a Youtube video of an Android Emulator.

  • Why does windows movie maker not allow me to import videos from my iphone? So basically, when i try to import my video file from my iPhone, this pops out The file C:\Documents and Settings\Moncho1\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\PE8H60J3\IMG_0631[1] is not a supported file type, and it can't be imported into Windows Movie Maker. What is the problem here? Do i need to refresh or do something to my computer? Or do i need to change any formats from my iPhone?
