Is there a reliable app for the iPhone to store photos?

I'm going To upgrade to the IPhone 5 and I really want to keep all of my photos and such. I was wondering if there was an app that I can store all of my photos securely and then when I get the new phone, plug it in to the lap top and all of the data that's on the app transfer over to my new phone? Is there such thing?

You don't need an app for that Itunes stores them. Just sync your phone with Itunes and when you get your new phone sync it back to to new phones with the same itunes account.

Itunes will back up all your apps, photos and music. It will not back up your contacts, calendars and notepad but you can export them to outlook if you have it or the cloud.

My answer is assuming your going from one iphone to another but if not then you can back up non apple phones more easily by dragging and dropping onto your computer then on your new phone you can load it from itunes.

Another alternative is once you get your new phone load a program called bump that is available both in the apple store and the android market place onto both phones then simply bump the two phones together and your photos, music etc are copied from one to the other when you choose them. It also lets you bump your contacts which itunes doesn't do.

That program also lets you bump to your computer if you like using your space bar.

Here is the link

Itunes does exactly what you said.

  • What is the best app in the IOS app store to edit photos? I need to do resizing, cropping and some visual exposure effects. I would like to be able to use the app in both my iphone and my ipod touch. So any suggestions about which app is contains most functions but is simple at the same time. I don't bother whether the app is free or paid
