Is there such thing as fake Iphone 5 selling in S'pore that shares the same logo Apple have?
I wanted to buy an Iphone 5 in Singapore, but was told that there are fake Iphone 5 manufactures and was unsure and worried whether they are selling those cheaper option smartphones in Singapore that shares the same logo, trademark design as Apple, which I hope not.
There are some, but not much. Take a friend who knows better about iPhone than yourself. There also some cheaters selling original iPhone refurbished condition (but sold as brand new with new repackaging display)
So did you plan to pay a premium price for your phone? Everything in Singapore is expensive.
The fake iPhone 5 is made by Goophone. Goophone does not sell them the Apple logo. The logo is usually just a sticker on the fake phone. Also the back is removable on the fake iPhone 5.
All Goophone run Android. Just power up the phone and see if it has all the right apps on it. The icons and the screen look much like the iPhone. But if you open the app store, if it takes you to the Google market then the phone is fake. The settings screen on the iPhone looks a lot different from Android. Some of the apps will come up in Chinese.
Selling fake items is very illegal in Singapore. A threat of reporting the store is more than enough to get your point across.
Not really because you can't even use thea appstore, and plus you buy iphone because the hardware and OS and a fake obviously wouldn't be either.
