Is this a virus or not! If it is, how do I remove it?
Ok today I opended up my PC ( Window 7, and my screen some weird FBI thing popped up on my screen., I can't open internet explorer, I can't open anything. I tried to search up on my iphone what could possiable be, the conclusion was that this was a virus, I wasn't 100% sure

It says I had a child porography in my files.
It says I have to pay in 72 hours or my files will be " detained "

Yes, this is a virus. It sounds like Malware. Tip, don't use Internet Explorer. I would suggest Chrome. If you are able to reboot windows into safe mood this is done by rebooting a pressing F8 every second. A screen will appear select Advanced Boot Options and then safe mode. Once in Windows run your antivirus software. If you don't have one this would be a good time to install one. When booting up, if you will need internet access make sure you select safe mode with networking.

Its a virus. A very dangeres one! I think my dad had it befor.but, my computer scince brother fixed it! P. S. He is in collge right now.
