Sounds like your speaker is broke. If you have no experience with repairing iPhones I wouldn't touch it. Also, water damage isn't covered in the warranty so that sucks.
Also seems unlikely that wet hands did that.
Don't blame this on your boyfriend. Wet hands wouldn't cause the problem you're having. You probably dropped it in the toilet, and now you're trying to put the blame on him for the water damage. Fess up to your parents and tell them the truth.
And no, water damage is not repairable, nor will warranty cover it.
Yes, but it will cost about $500 and a new phone
- Shattered iPhone 4S screen fixable? Three days ago me and my boyfriend got in a fight and he smashed my phone on a stone wall resulting in the screen being completely shattered. The screen itself doesn't work or show any image it's completely blank so I thought it was broken… Until someone tried calling. My phone still rings the screen is just broken. My brother knows someone that can replace the screen for $60 but do you think the screen itself is fixable?
- Overloaded iPhone 4S still fixable? My friend plugged a 12V RC car charger into the audio jack of an iPhone 4S. The plug sparked then the screen went to all sorts of colors then turned to red and finally black. Is this problem still fixable?
- Is my chipped iphone corner fixable? (picture)? A class mate of mine dropped my new iphone 5s and it chipped is it fixable? How much would it cost? here are pics of it
- Iphone water indicators not pink, still possible water damage? Hypothetically, if you got your iphone 4s wet, but the water indicators are not triggered at all, is it still possible the phone has water damage on the inside that apple would find if they took it apart?
