Issue with updating iOS7 on iPhone 4?
I swear I'm about ready to chuck this phone across the room!
Made sure my version of iTunes was the latest; have to download iOS 7 that way since my phone is just a 4, not 4S.
Spent lord knows how much time waiting for my phone to back up through iTunes and finally upload iOS 7. Now I'm going through the set-up on the phone and keep getting stuck on this one issue.
When I select "Restore from iTunes Backup," it prompts me to connect the phone to iTunes, which I do.iTunes recognizes the phone, syncs, etc. Phone says it's connected to iTunes. Then when iTunes tells me the sync is all done, my phone continues to tell me to connect. It won't let me move past the screen for setting up.
Please Help!
This phone is close to becoming as worthless and outdated as a paperweight.
I would setup as new then after that is done then I would restore it from backup. Hope it helps.
- Will updating my iPhone apps affect my phone speed as how updating the Operating System (OS) will? Currently I'm using the iPhone 5s on iOS 8.3 I know if I were to update my phone to the latest OS I may notice some slowdown on my phone's performance, since it may not have the "muscle" to handle certain functions. Many apps now are optimised for iOS 9 and/or the 6th generation phones. Will my 5s' speed performance slow down if I update my apps? Will the app's performance slow down?
- My Factory unlocked iPhone 4s has Relocked after updating to ios7.1.2 from 7.0.4,what do i do? My iPhone was originally locked to Vodafone uk which i got unlocked a month later from an IMEI unlocker website and i updated from ios 6 to 7 no issues but today suddenly it won't activate my sim card.
- Issue updating iTunes for Mac? New iPhone 5SE wasn't compatible with my "older" version of iTunes. Updated my Mac's OS to El Capitan now trying to download the newest version of iTunes (12.3.3)
- IPhone with ios7 Text Message Issue? I want to erase my entire thread of messages on my iPhone 4. With ios 6 i would slide to the left and click delete. But now when i do it the thread is gone until i get a text from the person and the whole thread is back. How do i delete the texts permanently?
