Locked out of iPhone! What do I do?

So I have an iPhone 5s and I enabled the touch thing where your finger unlocks it. Well, I went ahead and tried to put in a passcode because it had been a while since I used it and I wanted to make sure I remembered it. Well, it was wrong and I kept trying different ones because I was sure it was within the 1245 range. Well none of them worked so now I'm locked out and I have no idea what the passcode could be bacause I made it so long ago. The touch thing doesn't even work and so now I'm so mad. How to I unlock it? Do I need to go to AT&T, will they be able to unlock it for me? I have the original box and everything. Or am I forever locked out of my expensive iPhone?

Connect it to your laptop

When you factory reset an iPhone, you're returning the phone to its good-as-new status, the state it was in when it left the factory. There will be no music, apps, or other data on it besides the iOS and its built-in apps and it will have all the original settings. In other words, a factory reset means you're completely erasing the phone and starting over from scratch.

Man why your making things more difficult nagging like ladies

and no you can't do that again iPhone is a smart phone that can able to remember your pass code very good, and remember that as much as you keep trying to type a wrong pass code the time of the unlock will remain and increases till you.

now as you get the first answer above connect it to your laptop visit the iTunes section and their you can edit all your settings

The lock usually only lasts for a certain time period. I would just wait it out. But if for some reason it is set to lock "forever", then yes, I would just take it into the AT&T store and as long as you can prove you are the plan holder for that phone (an simple ID should do), then they can unlock it for you.

If you do not have anything on the phone that is overly important (and I would do this only if id does not automatically unlock), you can hook it up to your computer, log into your Itunes account, and reset the phone to factory settings.

Best Wishes,
Dean

You can just wipe it and restore back to factory.

  • My iphone locked me out after an itunes update, how can I uninstall it? Okay I have an Iphone 1 ( version 4.2.1) that I was using to listen to music WITHOUT a sim card in it. It would let me in anytime I wanted, and then I accidently updated Itunes and it decided to lock me out because I don't have a sim card. How can I uninstall it or where do I get a good jailbreak for it? Redsnow isn't working quite right /
  • Locked out of my iPhone haha? I was messing about and now I'm locked out of my iPhone. I don't know the 4 number passcode and I have tried things I have seen on the Internet. I tried the one where you hold down the lock and home button, wait until there's the apple sign, then let the lock button go, and then the iTunes and cable sign should appear. This did NOT work for me. It just turned on again. I don't know what I'm going to do so any suggestions welcome.
  • Locked out of iPhone! Blue rings? Hi! I turned on assistive touch on my iPhone 4 and went into gestures. I didn't really know what it was so I tried to get out of it but ended up with four or five blue rings on the screen and then i just clicked somewhere. I didn't really think anything of it, but now my screen isn't responsive! The blue rings are gone. I would reset it, but my lock button is broken. Someone please help!
  • Locked out of iPhone and no iTunes? My mom just got me and my hubby iPhones but neither of us have iTunes. He locked himself out. Anyway to get his phone unlocked? Would calling our phone carrier help?
