Making A Video Game should it be on Iphone or Computer?
I'm in the creation of a game but I'm not sure what device to create it for I like the smartphone market because it is a huge market but the smartphones right now don't have the processing power or size to handle a game the scale of which I'm imagining. I could always strip the game down to it basics and still have it on the iPhone but I also want to express the ideas I have for it. Would you rather have a game with better quality on the computer or lesser quality but on your smartphone?
If your looking for money, iPhones. If your in it for the sheer passion of game making, computer, because you already stated you can do so much more with it.
IPhone, far more users and more money to be made on the app store than there's on PC. Trust me!
I would recommend making it for the PC, they are a lot easier to code for and you don't need to jump through hoops to get it onto the appstore or Google play store etc. Should your game be successful you could always experiment with smartphone games and release it for a mobile device.
