i don't own an iPhone 2g but i really wish it was possible to cannibalize one by taking EVERYTHING out, replacing the screen with a iPhone 4s screen since its the newest screen that fits, and building new insides to make it just as fast as the 6. (possibly a little better or worse than the 6 depending on the possibilities)
AlsomWidening the hole in the back so it could fit the best camera possible, and adding a better front camera as well.

Consumer electronics don't work this way. Phones are made as small as they are by cramming everything into a very small space. If something goes wrong with your phone, you have to replace it with the same part made for that very same phone, otherwise it just won't fit.

If you really want to have a play at this, then have a look at phones built on the Arduino platform!

It would be extremely difficult and not really feasible.
Have you seen what the inside of an iPhone looks like? It's basically a computer crammed into a small space. You can't just upgrade whatever you want.

I doubt that anyone would spend the countless hours trying to make it work.

  • When will a phone manufacturer create a real wireless phone? I'm sure it's in the works… Is it possible to take what Samsung came up with the wireless pad you place the phone on and somehow integrate that inside the phone on the battery itself? Possibly make a "dual core" battery where one is charging while you are using the other one? Course you need the wireless module into the socket but the so called wireless charging isn't really wireless what we have now. I'm hoping Samsung creates this technology… I hate iPhone.

The case is nice but they don't make it for 4's. Would it be possible to modify the 4 to fit the 5 case? I understand the 5 is bigger, which is why i was thinking thin strips of electrical tape or rubber, to give it a firm fit in the 5 case, but if there are any other ways to go about it, please tell me. its an actual Gucci case in case you were gunna say "just get a new case"
