My computer won't connect to internet?

Yesterday morning my mother updated AVG, but now when I try to use my computer, the browsers won't load. Nothing that requires internet on my computer will work. I've restarted a few times but that doesn't help. First I thought it was just google chrome so I uninstalled it but the internet won't work on my other browsers either (IE and Comodo Dragon). Skype doesn't work. I know my internets fine because it's working on my cousins laptop, my iPad and my iPhone. This is really frustrating. Any possible solutions?

Then uninstall AVG.

  • Why won't my xbox 360 connect to the internet but will connect to my iphone hotspot? Ill play cod bo2 almost daily and my xbox will connect to my mobile hotspot on my iphone 4s fine, but out of no where it will lag out and disconnect me from xbox live, its not a hardware issue everything connects normally, full bars and everything the phone still lets me get on the internet, but my xbox will not, why D:?
  • Why won't my IPhone 4s connect to the internet? My phone got turned then I paid the bill the same day but the 4g icon won't come back and I can't go on the Internet and stuff how do I turn it back on?
  • My computer can't connect to the internet? My iPad and iPhone can connect just fine. I use the same internet password and SSID. However, the troubleshooter keeps saying "Windows can't connect to the hidden network 'x' and it keeps saying that I'm either out of range or the network settings don't match the ones on the wireless router. WHAT! I'm using the same internet and same password settings as my iPad and the pad connects just fine.
  • Is there any way i can connect my iphone to the internet through my computer? I have access to my desktop which has internet but i don't have the Wi-Fi password. Or can i create a new, separate network somehow?
