My ihone 4s is cracked and not working after an accident, will apple replace it for me?
I bought my iPhone 4s about 3 years ago from carphone warehouse, but I dropped it without realising and went over it with my car, it is majorly cracked and the screen does not work, but does switch on. If I take it to the apple store, will they replace it for me?
If you take it to the apple store, they will charge you around $80 since the warranty has expired.
You can buy do-it-yourself kits in Amazon for less than $10. It comes with a link to video instructions. It requires a bit of precision, but it should not be a problem if you have steady hands. Many people can do it right the first time they try.
If you had purchased your phone under a contract, you might also be eligible for a new phone. Some cell phone providers are now offering low-end iphone 4s for free with additional 2 year contract nowadays.
Only at full price for repair or replacement. Applecare warranty only carries for one year unless you purchase extended. Unfortunately, unless you have other insurance on the phone, it will probably be out of pocket for you. Best luck.
They should do, I took my iPad to college one day last year and stupidly put a full bottle of water in there with it. As you can guess the water leaked all over the iPad completely ruining it. I took it to the Apple store and they replaced it in under 10 minutes!
