My iPhone 4 has really really terrible signal?

I recently received an unlocked iphone 4 as a gift and I use the AT&T phone carrier but I never ever have more than 1 bar. I usually have no service actually. Maybe because it might not be the original phone carrier it was from? I'm not sure. So I was wondering why my phone is doing this and if there are any solutions to it because people claim to have called me multiple times but I never receive their calls and it is really an issue when I need to make a call but I don't have service.

You should take the phone to an att store and have them check it out. There may be something malfunctioning in the phone. Are you on a plan or paygo. Att doesn't support the iphone on paygo.

  • Why does my iPhone 4 have no signal yet has full bars? My phone is on EE and doesn't connect to the internet even though i have full 3g does anyone know why? I've tried resetting it everything and nothing seems to work it does this for about 3 hours a day?
  • Terrible battery life on iphone 27 minutes of usage and already on %13. Weird thing too is I have used the phone for an entire hour straight at 1% before it dies. Its an iphone 5 and I'm wondering if batteries just get old? Updating the software did nothing, all the usual battery draining tricks in settings are off. Btw, Its not pandora (the pic) that is the problem, this was happening before I had the app and there are no problems with my ipad. Has anyone had a smiliar problem and were able to fix it?

  • My iPhone suddenly has weak Wi-Fi signal strength? This has been going on for about a week now and it happened suddenly. My 3GS suddenly has terrible Wi-Fi signal strength, meaning that if I'm in my room now, I can't get Wi-Fi while sitting on my bed. I have to be on the same floor basically as my router. Is there something I can do? Is there dust blocking something? Tips please?
