My iPhone 4 will not charge but it displays the plug symbol?
My iPhone 4 is not charging, but when I plug it in, it'll make the connection sound, and the battery icon will change to a plug. It doesn't show the lightning bolt though. I've tried everything; connecting it to an outlet, connecting it to my computer, and using a different cord altogether. Do I have a dead battery? What can I do? My phone was in good condition, no water damage or anything.
Take it back to the store where you got it from and show them what it is doing. They might give you a new battery
First of all try using the charger provided with your device… Many people tend to use ipad charger with iphone, 2) check if you can sync your phone with your comp. If all dis fails it means you might have a hardware issue. I had similar prob with y ipod.take it to the service center
Turn your phone off and turn it back on. Sounds funny but it works.
- Why doesn't my iPhone show the 4G symbol but it shows the LTE symbol? I have Verizon as a carrier, and I just aksed this question but didn't ask it right. YES I HAVE 4G LTE. I've had the phone for 2 months and have been many places with it. It only shows the circle, 3G, and the LTE symbol, but not 4G or the Edge symbol. If anyone knows why, please let me know.
- My IPhone 5 isn't charging when I plug it in but the charging 'symbol' comes up? I've only had my phone for a few weeks- since Christmas, and today it's been playing up, it keeps turning on and off then when my phone is on the screen at the bottom flickers! I have never dropped this phone or it hasn't been water damaged! I resorted my phone by pressing the lock and home screen and put it on charge, my charge percentage isn't going up it keeps decreasing, even though it says that my phone is on charge, what should I do?
- Looking for a photo frame that displays iPhone photos in their original orientation? I have a problem with my digital photo frame. (The company is pandigital) I just downloaded photos from my iPhone to the frame, and they re being displayed incorrectly. Photos that were taken as portrait appear as landscape. (I have to tilt my head sideways to look at the picture) Does anyone know of a solution to this problem, or of a digital photo frame that will display pictures in the orientation they were taken (even if that means black bars)
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
