My iPhone 4 won't stop rebooting?
I have a jailbroken iPhone 4 using 6.1 it is a untethered jailbreak and i was downloading siri from cydia and my iPhone was slow so i held the power and home button to restart it and now it is staying at the apple logo I waited 2 days and so far it is the same how do I fix it? I also don't wanna restore but I will if I have too
That's happened with my 4 too. I didn't download Siri though. I downloaded hacks for games and icons and so on. Then when it went flat and I tried to recharge it it kept booting.
My friend had a look at it who then had to downgrade my phone so It would work using a programme called red-snow I think. I lost everything. I wouldn't jailbreak it again.
Please note that the Siri ports often cause reboot loops like this, and are not recommended for install.
Hold down the home and power button together until the screen turns black.
Power it back on and see if anything happens
If that doesn't work…
Power it off and hold the volume up button along with the power button, this should disable mobile substrate.
if that doesn't work…
It's time to restore.
