My iphone 4s is not connecting to Wi-Fi?
It kept showing me up at the top 3G and then the Wi-Fi bars. I didn't know why it was doing this so I tried resetting network settings but I actually regret that. It's not "greyed out'' or anything but when I try to connect to our network and I type in the password, it shows the Wi-Fi bars on top but then it says I failed to join my home network. I'm using ios 7 right now and know I should update to ios 8 but i only have 5GB of space.
What's going on?
In the settings menu disable 3G or mobile internet. This will remove the 3G data use.
then, in the network section in the settings, you should find the Wi-Fi settings, find your router and open it, put in the password as it is written, if there are CAPITALS, you need to put in capital letters, because Wi-Fi network passwords are case sensitive (upper and lower case letters matter).
