My iphone 5c exploded and set itself on fire?
So basically i was holding it in my hand while i was looking something up on my laptop and out of no where smoke starts coming out of my phone.a few seconds go by and the top part of the screen pops off so i drop it to the floor and fire literally started shooting out of it. Its melted now & it turned my whole floor black but thankfully i was able to clean it up. But i'm not sure what to do. Should i go to the apple store and tell/show them? Or contact apple somehow?
Call Apple Support 1-800-MY-APPLE. From what I have read they normally want to get their hands on a phone in the rare case of fire. To determine if it is a design flaw, defect or caused by a third party (such as cheap knockoff battery).
As long as you didn't open it they are usually more lenient on replacements in these rare cases. If you did something like put some $5 battery off eBay in there. Odds are you are out of luck.
Also take pictures.
If your story is true, I would definitely take it to an apple store.

- My iPhone 4S exploded! Literally? I just got a new iPhone 4S replacement because my old one broke. My warrantee got me a new one for free. I took it home to sync to iTunes and it just exploded like 10 seconds into the sync. The whole bottom right corner of the phone blew off including the home button, half of the steel band, and some of the screen. Will my warrantee cover explosions like this since it was iTunes fault? P.S. I synced it with iTunes on a 2001 HP laptop.
