My iphone 5s won't charge on my macbook pro?
It can charge anywhere else but on my mac it just dosn't work. It may be that nothing works on my usb port but changing the ports does nothing

Check with other pc/laptop. If it works fine that means your macbook usb port is not ok… Just replace it then
Assuming that your iPhone is new, and you may have noticed that both your phone and your MBP are actually PORTABLE, take them AND your iPhone's USB Cable back to the store where you bought the phone, and they will test everything for you. You did read the iPhone's User Manual right?
If so, you must know that you need to Activate/Authorize (or vice versa) your new iPhone on your MBP using iTunes, and then, Authorize/Activate (or vice versa) it, on the iTunes Store, too.
Sorry, I can't remember which term to use "Activate/Authorize (or vice versa)", but it is explained within the iTunes App, and on the iTunes Store.

I'm trying to sync my phone i have a brand new mac i just got it a few days ago and i've synced it once already and now when i hit sync on step three of three it says "waiting for changes to be applied" then the sync just stops i read online that people who had the same problem just restored their phone and then it worked so i restored my phone and now it STILL won't sync i'm getting so frustrated someone please help me!
