My IPhone 6 Camera has bad quality?
When I first got my iPhone 6, the camera was amazing! I wanted to keep it that was so I kept "cleaning" it. Soon later, I realized that it just made the camera worse. Now, my camera quality has gone down. It's almost as bad as my iPhone 4 and iPod camera. When compared to the cameras on the iPhone 6's at the Apple Store, it's very bad. Is there any way I can fix this?
Your "cleaning" the lens probably added minute scratches to its coating, thus reducing its image making qualities.
NEVER use a household "window cleaner" They contain ammonia and other harmful contents which can attack the optics of a lens. In addition, if you actually sprayed the cleaner on your camera, the excess fluid probably seeped into and aournd the lens itself and could have desolved the material that holds the lens together or at least over the sensor in the mobile.
Photographers NEVER want to have to clean their lenses and thus before they ever use a lens, the place a new UV or NC filter over the lens to assure that any dust, mud or other debris never reaches the lens.
Yes, when they are in controlled environments, they remove the filters to reduce any lens flare or ghosting the filter may cause, but once the shoot is over, the filter goes back on the lens.
A mobiles lens has not threads to attach a filter, so under those conditions, the only safe way to clean finger prints off a mobiles lens is to use a micro fiber cloth to g e n t l y remove the greesy prints.
If you had the forethought to insure your mobile, then have the damaged mobile replaced and stop with the cleaning urges
Buy a real camera and use it only under ideal lighting conditions.
Breathe on the lens and try cleaning the lens with a clean microfibre cloth, like the one found in glasses cases.
This makes an amazing difference to glasses which become 'smeared'.
If you have caused serious abrasion to the lens then there's little you can do other than to increase the contrast settings in the camera app.
Apple has acknowledged that there were some iPhone 6 cameras that were bad. They will replace them (the camera, not the phone) for free at any Apple store, or you can send it in by mail. Look for the details on Apple's web site.
Just skip it and get yourself a real camera. You're pictures will be far superior to even the best of what an iWhatEver can produce.
Ya, it happens some time. By the way, you should buy a real canon camera or any other brand camera for you.
- Why is my iPhone 4s camera different quality to another iPhone 4s camera? My mum has a iPhone 4s like me and her iphone camera seems better than mine by Quite abit. My camera is kinda grainy and I was wondering if it's anything in the settings that can change this? It's not majorly bad quality but it's definitely different to other 4s cameras!
- Why does the video quality look bad when uploaded to the computer? [iPhone 4]? When I upload my video to youtube in HD directly from the iphone, I go on the computer to watch it on youtube and the quality is perfectly normal. But when I copy the file from my iphone and onto my computer the video looks grainy? I wan't to put it into after effects and do some editing but how can I go about KEEPING the quality of the video? I don't get why it gets all grainy when I put it onto my computer vs. It being perfect when I upload it directly from my ipod to youtube?
- Why does my iPhone receive good quality videos as bad quality videos? So I recently met a famous guy in concert and when I got a picture wth him I was getting a video and my friend used her phone to video it. So she sent it to me and it was like terrible quality and the video was like little with a huge black border around it. But yet it looks perfectly fine on her phone? How do I fix it? Whenever I try to get video editing apps it always says error & only with that particular video. I have an iPhone 5c, and so does my friend.
- Why do I look okay in the front camera of my iPhone but bad in the back camera? I kinda look good in the front camera of my iPhone but I have noticed I don't look that "great" in the back camera of the phone. My face looks longer and my smile is bigger? It's kinda weird. But in the front camera i kinda look like the way I see myself in the mirror. But why do I look good in one camera but bad in the other if they're both cameras?
