And yes I know it has a bad battery
First just charge it & let it sit on the charge for a lil bit, if that doesn't work push the middle button and the top button at the same time hold it, then let it go.
Charge it if that fails take it to the apple store they will fix it for you
- Why is my iPhone 5 turning off and not turning back on? This has happened twice now. My iPhone 5 has turned off in the middle of the night with a full charge and off the charger, and when I try to turn it back on it takes a couple tries. Has anybody experienced this?

I have an iphone 4s, i've had it for a year now.recently it will randomly turn itself off even when it has charge in it, it will go off and not turn on for hours. I keep trying to turn it on and eventually it will come up with bit saying it needs to be charged basically.sometimes the screen will go blue or come up with random colours and turn off. I have no insurance for it either. I ordered it online, it's a contract with 3 mobile.i'm not sure if warranty as run out.
