My Iphone isn't recognizing the sim card?

Okay so my Iphone 4 is no longer recognizing the sim card. I've already tried turning the Iphone off and on, but that didn't help, nor did taking out and cleaning the sim card then putting it back in… Earlier tonight my phone was slid across the floor and hit the edge of the slate tiles, and not long after that is when it started playing up. If this is the course, can I somehow fix it?

Did you try putting the sim card different ways?

Back up your phone and restore it to default once it's at default put the SIM card in and by in I mean put it in and use something to push the sim the rest if the way so you can hear the "click" it should work

It's not listed on the upper righthand corner. My phone asks if I trust the computer. I say yes. Then I get a message that itunes is getting an invalid response from my device. I never had this problem before.
  • Unlocked iPhone 3 not recognizing T-Mobile SIM card? I unlocked my iPhone using redsn0w and it worked perfectly, but when I put in my SIM card it just says "searching" at the top. I tried using a new SIM and my old one but neither are working (both are from T-Mobile). Should I wait awhile longer or do I need to do something else now?
