My iphone won't send pics to other non-iphones
I reset my phone, the network settings, and made sure mms messaging was on. Any suggestions?
IPhone's only MMS to other IPhones, unfortunately.
An iPhone can MMS another non-iPhone just fine if your APN settings are correctly set according to your carrier.
APN stands for Access Point Name and it identifies the data access services associated with your iPhone or any smartphone. In other words, these settings allow you to send/receive picture messages to other mobile phones.
To ensure that your APN settings are correct, try the following:
1. Make sure that your iPhone is connected to the internet. Using Wi-Fi is fine if data is not available.

- Why won't my iPhone send iMessages to other iPhones? I can use iMessage on my iphone4 with no problems at all to iPods, but not to my partners iphone4, it always defaults to SMS. Its frustrating, because we live in an area with poor mobile coverage, so if I need to message him urgently, iMessage in theory should be the best way of doing it. But when I send pictures to iphones using imessage, I'm able to send pictures just fine. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?
