No more AT&T iPhones on Straight Talk?

I read that they stopped selling the AT&T SIM cards. I have an IPhone plan with AT&T at the moment. Are there any options for me to use this phone with Straight Talk or do I need to just sell It and buy a Verizon or whatever iPhone?

Yes they do not have AT&T SIM for sale anymore. However I think this is due to AT&T's new policy of unlocking of iphones (upon request) after the contract period is over. Therefore all you have to do is wait until the two year contract for your iphone has been completed and AT&T will unlock your iphone for free, you just have to request it and meet the conditions:

What are the eligibility requirements for unlocking iPhone?

All requests for iPhone unlock must meet general iPhone unlock eligibility requirements before an iPhone can be unlocked.

AT&T will unlock an iPhone under the following circumstances:

The person requesting the unlock is:
A current AT&T customer, or
A former AT&T customer who can provide the phone number or account number for the account.
The iPhone was designed for use on the AT&T network.
All contract obligations, including any term commitment, associated with the device to be unlocked have been fully satisfied.
The iPhone has not been reported lost or stolen.

Verizon Iphones will not work with Straight Talk.

Net 10 is the sister company to Straight Talk. You can still get Net10 ATT Sim kit on their website as well as at Walmart. I have seen them selling on ebay for as little as $.99. If you sign up with Net 10 autopay it is $45 as well and $40 for each additional phone. Without autopay it is $50 a month. Still better than buying a new phone!
