Note II won't charge turned on but charges turned off?
I've had my Note 2 since April, but more recently we sent it to get the broken screen fixed. It used to charge fine, regardless of being on or off. Now, it will only charge turned off. When it is turned on, it will recognize the charger but the battery goes down, not up. We've tried using a Chinese cord into my computer, the original charger and cord supplied by Samsung and using the original Samsung cord in my iPhone charger. Any ideas on why it is being like this and how we can fix it?
It may be two things. It is probably a bad battery. You could try out a friend's if they have the same phone. Or go into your cell phone provider's retail store and see if they can test with a new battery. You could also try replacing the battery. It would be good to buy from a place that has a return policy just in case you are still encountering the same problem. I get my cell phone batteries online here http://www.batteries4less.com. It could also be a faulty port… Maybe it got damaged when your screen was broken? Not sure if that makes sense though since you say it charges with the phone off.
- Why won't my iphone 4s Charge WHEN! ITS ON! BUT charges when OFF? Its also not being sensed when put into usb, is as if when the phone is ON it loses charing ability and USB ability.
- My new iphone 5 only charges when turned off? I have a new iphone 5 that I recently bought and is updated to ios 8 but the problem is it only charges when the phone is turned off, I have tried restarting my phone but nothing changes, and I have also cleaned out the lint from the phone but it made no difference
- My iPhone won't charge unless it's turned off? My phone won't charge unless it's turned off. I just bought this charger two days ago. Is there anyway I can fix this problem? It's not the chargers fault.
- My iphone won't charge after I dropped it unless it's turned off? Today I dropped my iPhone on concrete and the screen didn't crack but it won't charge unless it's turned off. Why won't it charge while turned on? And the battery seems to be draining extremely quick now. Anything I can do or is it permantetly damaged?
