PDP Afterglow Wireless Headset or Skullcandy PLYR1/2 Wireless Headsets Or Other?

I'm looking to purchase a new headset today. I'm looking for one that is wireless and one that can be used on 360 and PC. The 100$ Afterglows right now are my best choice but i'm still a little skeptical about the sound quality and mic quality, which are the two main things for me along with comfort. The great thing about the Afterglows is that you can use it for your iphone too with the cord they provide and it seems like an easy setup with the 360 and PC. I really wouldn't want to spend more than 150$ for a headset. How is the quality with the sound and mic on the Afterglows? Should i get something else?

If would like another suggestion then I'll recommend a Turtle Beach headset, which supports both PC and Xbox 360, with surround sound. Here you can find an actual user comment on the headset:

This headset is within your price range and This wireless headset has almost all the features afterglow have with some additional features such as 7.1 surround sound etc. Its sound quality is very good. The afterglow headsets are really great for a universal headset but there's only one con that it does not have surround sound otherwise they are very good. So if you do not want surround sound then you can surely prefer Afterglow over Skullcandy.

  • Why can't my iphone headsets work on my galaxy s3? I know how some of you would say well its for iPhones duh! Well it did work for my galaxy s3 but after 3 uses my controls on my headsets won't work anymore and I can't do anything about it. P.S. My headsets are new and there was nothing wrong with it before. Does anyone know any apps that can make it work again and is free?

  • Recording quality in Audacity differs with different headsets? First of all, I'm not using a mic. When I use the earphones that comes with iPhones, the quality of the recording is really clear when I play it. But then when I use a Skullcandy headset, the recording sounds muffled. What gives? When I listen to the recordings I recorded with the iPhone earphones with the Skullcandy headset, they sound clear. It has to do with the recording because one recording sounds the same with either earphones. If it's clear, it's clear for both.
