Play video wirelessly on any laptop?

Basically I want to use my iPhone to be able to play a video to a laptop that projects on a big screen without connecting the iPhone to the laptop at all. Is it even possible? If so, how? Basically I want it to be able to search for the laptop on the same internet connection and then play the video I choose it to from a link I can copy and paste or from a video on YouTube and basically project the video itself. The only thing I know the laptop runs on is Windows 7. That's all I'm able to find out too. Is it possible?

There's a toy called Shareport4w - that allows to stream audio from iPhone to PC. The cat that came up with that little gem made something like a Windows Media Center Plugin if I remember correctly. I did a quick search and couldn't find it, but spend some time asking my good buddy Google about "Streaming Media From iPhone to Windows 7" and you're bound to come across it. The technology does exist, it just takes some patience to find a good working one.
I'm not 100% sure about the YouTube side, but it worked with SharePort4w to stream YouTube sound to my stereo speakers like a champ. It's also possible (I think) to do it over Bluetooth some way, but mostly it just streams over the local wireless network.

I have a kenwood in-dash system that allows me to plug my iphone into it to play music(through the charging port not aux cable) anyone know how i could get my iphone to stream music through it wirelessly with an accessory i could plug into it (not a feature the in-dash system has)

Okay so i got a hp photosmart 5520 for christmas & i set it all up and managed to print something off my iphone but whenever i try to print off my laptop it doesn't have a connection. I know its not my wireless because it prints of my iphone but i'm using the most up to date drivers. I wouldnt mind using the wire but it diddnt come with one because it wireless. Please help guys i have really long assignment to print out and i can't do it any other way!
  • Laptop won't connect wirelessly but other devices do? I recently changed ISPs. When the guy left I was on the internet wirelessly on the laptop but the next day the only way I could get online on the laptop was through an Ethernet cable connected to the router. I have a Linksys WRT54G… But I don't think it is the router. Our iPhones, Nintendo Wii and wireless printer can connect wirelessly but my laptop won't. Any suggestions?
  • Is there any App that can watch video and record your sound while play the video? Like the Title said I can't find any app from IPhone, my house is too loud, and I can't convice someone to lower the sound. Is there any app that can record your voice while watching videos?
