Recently lost iPhone and is on silent mode. Will the Find My Phone alert ring or not?
I've logged onto iCloud and sent my phone an alert, but my phone is on silent mode. I was wondering if the alert would ring regardless if its on silent mode or not.
If the phone is switched on but in silent mode, Find my iPhone will override the mute settings and display the alert and message.
Just out of curiosity, can you locate the phone? If it is on, the GPS will give it's location. I'd hurry though, as sadly the battery won't last very long.
- My phone got weather alert yesterday now won't stop the alert noise every 10 min? It doesn't come up as notification or any way of seeing any alert it's just the sound how do I make it stop it's doing it right now i don't know my phone model but it's touch smart phone not iPhone maybe Android or Galaxy or something i don't know please help.
