Shall i get the iphone/ ipod touch/ ipad?

Basically i don't use a phone at the moment. The main reason is that i don't really have anyone to text/call because i'm normally on skype to my friends. I have i phone but hardly use it because its usually has no credit or battery.
I would like to start using a phone because i think it would be useful but it is quite expensive and i don't want to pay lots of money if i don't use it.
i was thinking about maybe getting an iphone or ipad to play games on, listen to music and watch films but is it really worth it? I'm 15

Added (1). Also, i feel left out at school when all my friends go on their phones because most of them have iphones and i just have to sit and watch them

Added (2). I already have an ipod nano which i use a lot but it has no games on it

Id recommend buying a cheap phone (about £10 for a simple phone) and an ipod touch, as its portable and is just as good for games as iphone. Or get an ipad if you won't take it anywhere as its better for movies. Don't get an iphone as its way too expensive, especialy if you don't use a phone.
If you want a lot of storage space on an ipod you might as well get a 5th gen (32gb or 64gb). Otherwise a 4th gen 8gb or 16gb will be god enough, and lot cheaper

Back a few years ago I would have told you to get a separate phone and iPod Touch but when I did that, I soon wanted an iPhone.

I would recommend an iPhone, I get mine in a few weeks and I do love my iPad but I would say get one of them at a later time

I have a tracfone it has great service(lg800g) and i haven't had to pay a phone bill since july. You just pay as you run out of minutes. And i would recommend getting a tablet to go with your phone because a tablet can do everything an iphone can do but make phone calls. You could also get "textplus" which is a free texting app(internet required). This way is so much cheaper than an iphone.

You don't need to feel left out, because I'm 19, I always had phone although I didn't used it to talk that much, just important calls, but right now for 1month I don't have a phone, my phone got stolen and I didn't bought one after that, I don't feel like buying one for sometime now because I really don't talk much at phone, I mostly talk on the internet and also contact through fb. I never feel left out, and you should not too! I would recommend buy an ipad3 because it has tons and tons of apps, games for it and everything you want and you don't have to spend money monthly like you have to for a phone. Or you can buy an ipod 5g, its amazing trust me! Although ipad is a bit expensive, if you don't wanna spend that much then definitly buy an ipod 5g, it's worth it.
Ipod 5g has the exact same features as the iphone5, its like a iphone without simcard.
