Shipping from USA to Canada. Any fees or restrictions?

I was just wondering how export from USA to Canada works… For example, if I'd like to send an iPhone by post from USA to Canada, would there be any additional custom fees or anything?

There are no fees for EXPORTING an iPhone from USA, other than the normal shipping and handling that whoever is selling it to you will charge.

However, there are indeed fees for IMPORTING that iPhone into Canada. You will pay "duty" on purchases from USA that are shipped into Canada (if the item is not duty free). And you will be expected to pay PST/GST/HST on that purchase as well. And you pay these fees based on the price in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

Take the package to a post office place it in a box, seal it, they will weigh it give em the address you want to send it to and they will provide you with a shipping cost

Custom fees, yes, plus possibly insurance for the package.
