Should I be worried that my iPhone has been compromised?
After browsing the web for about half an hour or so I get a pop up saying that someone is trying to access my iPhone and that I should get rid of all the viruses. It states the persons ip and the location which is the Ukraine. Is this some sort of scam because I've heard that iPhones can't get malware because you're not allowed to download anything from the web. So my question is should I be worried.
I don't know but smart phones are the hackers new target. I would be a little concerned.
Any such pop up in a browser is a scam.
Iphones are able to still get malware, it is just very unlikely. That being said, you just saw someone trying to scare you in to clicking on something
It's a scam… Walk away… Do not click on anything that they say you must click on.exit what ever site you are on…
- Should i be worried about my iphone 5? I've had this iphone5 for a month now and i've only noticed now that there's a red glowing dot near the top speaker. It can only be seen in the dark. After doing some research i think its supposed to be the proximity sensor but some people say its abnormal to be seeing this? Is this a problem? Should i be worried? What's a proximity sensor anyways and how do i turn off the red dot if possible?
- My iPhone 6s has no phone case and I've dropped it several times but there has never been any damage The screen hasn't cracked and it still works like new and the phone is as old as when the first iPhone 6s came out. But it's just funny because i Never have a case on it and it's fallen, maybe only 3 feet at most onto wood floors and nothing has happened yet. Anyone else relate?
- IPhone 6 has a hole poked in the speaker mesh. Should I be worried about it or not? Not a big hole. But I'm worried water or something could get in. Can you get a replacement for the loudspeaker mesh too?
- I'm a bit worried buying iPhone 5s. Maybe i should go for 5? Read below? There's unfortunately one big problem we will use the home button much or keep your finger there etc, but when there's single or minor or fingernail scratch its all over and my dad won't repair and will kill me AM i right? Is there a protector for this lol? What i mean by a protector is for home button
