Should i buy an iphone along with a mac book?
I just turned 18 and i'm heading out for college therefore my dad thinks its necessary for me to get a laptop for projects n **** … After a long discussion we decided that the macbook would be perfect for me… I was wondering if i should buy an iphone along with it? I have a samsung phone with me at the moment and i was thinking it won't be that compatible with the macbook since it isn't an apple product… So do i have to buy an iphone?

You don't have to buy an iphone. Samsung is perfectly fine. You can access it from your apple computer if you connect the devices with a cable. Apple on the other hand can control the mac if you download certain applications, it can use icloud to exchange files with your computer and to back up, sync itunes/photos etc more easily.
I'm using an iphone now because I can't find Samsung in Japan but I think Samsung is a thousand times better x-x despite the perks that you get with macbook compatibility.
Yes, get an iphone, assuming that it will be synched up with your MacBook in a similar way that iphone and ipad work together. Your iphone becomes a smaller version of your computer so you can pull it out to take a random note about something at school, check your schedule and do a lot of things without pulling out your laptop. It will make your life a lot easier.
