Should i turn off my Iphone at night while sleeping?
Can anyone please tell me should i turn off or on my iphone at night while sleeping.
I downloaded an apps called battery doctor, on it and it tells {turning off is ok but when you turn on the battery will be gone extremely } i don"t know what to do can some one please tell me.
Makes no sense that turning the phone off would deplete the battery. You turn your computer off sometimes don't you? I hope so anyway. You don't have to turn it off every night but you should turn it off once in awhile to allow it to 'rest' and reset.
No not at all in fact that is the ideal time to actually charge the phone while you are sleeping and then when you awake in the morning you have a fully charged fresh phone.
That app doesn't make sense. I charge my phone 3 hours before i sleep then turn it off over-night and its at 100% in the morning when i switch on ready for the day.
No, I never shut mine off ever. It you want it silent just flip the little mute switch in the corner.

- I have an iPhone 8 and I use an app called sleep cycle that records my sleep. Last night the app was recording my sleep while charging? I woke up around 1 AM and I felt something super hot so I think it was my phone. I look over and either my phone was smoking or the outlet so I immediately unplugged everything. My guess was that since the app is drawing electricity from the phone battery throughout the night and the phone is charging it kinda got screwed up. Does anyone know what might've happened? Another guess is that my pillow probably got caught in the outlet since I have a huge pillow that covers it.
