Sprint IPhone 4S to be used with Net10?

I just bought a iPhone 4S on eBay and I want to unlock it and activate it with Net10 for unlimited everything for $50 instead of $100+ like other major carriers. My iPhone has a micro SIM card slot, but its actually still on a sprint carrier (Sprint 14.0) when I check the system info. I found a special GPP SIM card that I use along with a program to unlock my CDMA iPhone into a GSM phone. Once I unlock it I can activate it with any carrier right? And in this case it will be with Net10 and I'll have to buy a net10 micro sim after I unlock my phone. So my question is, is that how I unlock my Sprint IPhone 4S to be used with Net10?

Nope. You need a unlocked gsm iphone.
att, tmobile etc
sprint iphones only work on sprint, unlocked or not.

This is tricky i don't think you can use net 10 with an iphone 4s. You could give it a try but sprint and verizon use cdma tech which run on different band frequency's so when unlocking a phone is only good for that technology band. Thats why gsm unlocked phones are more expensive.

Iphones can't be unlocked to net10 because iphones don't have the software that net10 needs to keep track of minutes (whether or not youre on the unlimited plan)

  • Will jailbreaking iPhone fix Net10's data cap? I have a iPhone 4s and I heard that Net10 caps data at 1.5GB. If I jailbreak the phone, would that be a workaround to have truly unlimited data? I know you can change the APN to get MMS to work. BTW, only AT&T, Straighttalk and Net10 works where I live. I would have to drive 50 plus miles for others to work. Which is out of the question!

I have a AT&T iPhone 4S 16gb I never got it unlocked, I went too net10 and asked if I can get my phone activated and they said they can activate for me even without unlocking my iPhone, so I bought the service it was $50 for unlimited talk/text/web (etc), they put I'm the SIM card and everything was working fine, a few hours later I try going on the Internet and it says it can't connect? Everything stopped working… I can only make calls, what do I do?

Okay so i just got another iphone, this one was free its an iphone 4 for sprint i was using att on my 3gs for the longest, and i'm trying to find a good cdma prepaid service that i can connect it to without it being outrageous every month. I was doing some research on net10 and it says its both? How i don't know… Is net10 good and can i even connect it to net10 since its a iphone i think you can with most prepaid services.
