T-Mobile throttling on unlimited data. Any Hackers out there?

Ok so I'm using an iPhone 6 running iOS 8.3 ( jailbroken). I'm trying to remove the throttling from my ISP I've tried using a VPN on my phone and laptop, No luck. Does anyone have a solution to this thanks.

The solution, upgrade your data plan! There's no "hack" that can make your ISP deliver more data at a higher rate. The best solution is start using Wi-Fi where you can and use less cellular data, it isn't that hard to find safe Wi-Fi these days.

You'd have to have access to the T-Mobile system to do this. The throttle is at their end, not yours. Their end measures data used and applies the throttle after X amount… So you'd have to get into the T-Mobile system that controls this and change it.

They will probably take offense to you attempting to do so…

Data is data, whether directly or through a VPN. If you use up your monthly allotment, T-Mobile throttles you from 4G to 2G. What are you doing that you are using that much data? I use Wi-Fi at home or work and data just when out and about (or out of town), so I have never used my 5 GB per month or the extra 10 GB they gave me that when used up would start saving unused data from month to month. They don't count streaming music against your data use and recently started not counting streaming video use.

  • Will setting up a VPN prevent ISP throttling of my connection? My download speed drops while playing xbox live from 6.0 to 0.7 and disconnects me constantly. Is there a way I can setup a vpn to prevent throttling preferably off my iPhone? And if so how?
  • Unlimited 3g data on T-Mobile's 2.5 gb plan? I have an iPhone 4 that was factory unlocked from AT&T to be used with my current Tmobile plan, which is 2.5gb of 4g data. The iPhone only has 3g speeds and it uses up my 2.5gb of 4g still. But after I use up all of it, I'm still on 3g- nothing's changed. Would it be smart to downgrade to tmobile's 500mb plan instead?
  • UK]What's the best monthly mobile contract for Unlimited data? I don't text very much or call very much but i use the internet/data a hell of a lot on my iPhone 36S. I used to be on contract but went pay as you go, i want to switch back but on the lowest contract possible with unlimited data. I'm currently on Orange, don't mind moving.
  • My iPhone was stolen? Any hackers out there? My iPhone was stolen, someone broke into my locker with bolt cutters and took my iPhone and other belonging. I'm not able to track it, but is there anyone out there that is able to hack and do some magic to find and locate it? This is my last resort. It was a birthday gift and I need my phone bad.
