Power button on my iphone isn't working?
The power button on the top works, by its very difficult to press the button. I didn't drop it or anything it just all of a sudden stopped working. The same with my minus volume button. I have the iphone 4.
Same, Uh what i did was go to Settings>General>accessability>… The… Go to Physical and Motor, and turn Assistive Touch on, then go to the bottom and turn on triple click home button and check off AssistiveTouch. Now you can press your home button 3 times and have all the buttons on your screen.
a little tab will come up on your screen and you can control it completely through the controls
- Power button on iphone not working? On my last iphone, the power button on top stopped clicking and eventually stopped working. So i got a new one, and the same thing is happening again. Why is this happening? Can it be fixed? This is ridiculous
- Power button on iPhone 5 stopped working? I got the iPhone 5 for christmas this past year and since I got it the power button wouldn't work unless i pushed it down on the left side only. But now the other day it completely stopped working altogether. If i take it in to apple, will they give me a new one for free? Or am i gonna have to pay for repairs? I don't wanna go in and not have my phone backed up on my computer if they decide to give me a new one.

Hi, so a while ago I dropped my phone in water, I took it to a repair shop and they fixed it but when I got it back the power and home button didn't work, I turned on assistive touch so I can use my home button and turn off my phone, now I can't turn it on without using my charger or having someone text me, is there any other way I can turn it on without having to do that?

When i picked it up the power button (button that turns phone off on top) was jammed and would not turn my phone off. I can turn my phone off with a little button on my screen, but if i turn my phone off, i have to plug it into my charger to turn it back on. It really sucks. Is there any way i can un-jam my power button or should i take it ti the nearest apple store?
