Getting over a traumatic house robbery?

Last few days, my house was burglarized. We called the police and they investigated but there were no fingerprints found and the only evidence the robber left is L-type Hex Key Wheel Nut Wrench Brace Tyre.
I'm only 15 and this is a traumatizing experience for me, especially when I lost my mobile phone and my mother lost her 20 branded watches as well as 3kg gold bar. I feel empty, especially I'm the first person to see the my house's window broken due to these robbers who went in through there.

I lost the only watch that my grandfather who passed away gave to me. I really treasure it. And now, I lost my mobile phone, where I have the pictures of me and him.

We managed to replace the broken window and now I'm worried that the robbers will come back. Now, my parents are running low on money just to install aluminium grilles, but is it worth though honestly?
I talked to my bestfriend about this and she said I might have psychological trauma especially whenever I see things mess up. I can't sleep lately because I don't feel safe in my house. Coming back home and looking at the same window always make me cry because I kept on remembering what happened.

The police is still investigating, my sister is using Find My iPhone to track my phone down but she still can't find it since my phone is turned off. Please give me some advice and tips to get over this… I'm scared especially when I'm starting to runaway from home.

Added (1). I'm thinking of them coming back because they seem to forgot to take the television and a gold jewelry box. And we did install security cameras, but the camera was broken and smashed by them as well.

+ I'm thinking running away from home because I don't feel safe there and it is depressing to come inside the place where you get the trauma from.

I've been robbed a couple of times, and it's always traumatic. It's weird to think about someone going through your stuff, and there's always the fear that a couple weeks down the road, you'll discover something else missing.

But you want to try to be more logical about this. Robbers never return to a home they've already burglarized, for several reasons. Also, if they wanted your TV they would have taken it the first time. These guys often ignore TVs because they're so heavy and big. They want things that are easy to carry and they can sell quickly, like jewelry or art.

It's kind of odd you'd think of running away, though. Are there other problems going on? If not, and this is the result of the burglary, you're overreacting, because that is a really bad idea. You're 1000 times safer at home with mom and dad than wandering the streets!

The other thing that might help is keep a close eye on craigslist. It's almost like conducting your own investigation. If someone is selling some high end watches, show it to your mom and dad.

Why did you have a 3 kilo bar of gold in your house? And you should just think: well, they already took everything, why would they want to come back? Also, you could install security cameras, or another device like that.

Ps: why are you starting to run away from home? That isn't a great plan

Maybe you should ask your mom if you can stay with a friend or relative till they catch them, also, it can't hurt to talk to a counselor about it

  • Why does Netflix keep pausing and playing over and over? I'm using it on my iphone 4. And I have checked my connections over and over I've uninstalled reinstalled, signed in signed back and everything else that the troubleshoot website has recommend. And it's gotten annoying. It didn't start doing this as much until I updated the app before the ios 7 release. I'm currently using the trial for netflix and my laptop doesn't work so I can get it on anything but my phone.
  • What would the bond be for robbery in tennessee? They have no serious criminal back ground, stole my purse which contained my iPhone and wallet all together probably about $500. I was also assaulted when this happened and unconscious but they only got charged with robbery (I'm pressing charges for aggravated assault tmrw, had to wait to get a copy of the report and my statement) I would just like to know how much the bail would be and what will the penalty most likely be?

  • My iPhone 4S keeps vibrating over and over for no reason? It does it like every 10 minutes for about 30 seconds. It's almost like getting a notification every second. I'm not getting any notifications though, it's just vibrating for no reason whatsoever… What's wrong with it?
