Trying to reset an iPhone 5?
Ok, first of all, I jailbroke my iPhone 5 (Yes, I'm stupid). My iPhone 5 is running iOS 8.1, I didn't really like it because of some issues, so I decided to reset the phone and restore with a iCloud backup I had. The problem starts here, the phone turned off, rebooted into resetting, you see that Apple logo and that empty progress bar under the logo., it's been like that for couple of hours. *Facepalm* :/
I know it's my fault for jailbreaking and I won't get any benefits from it (rarely) but is there a way to fix this? I tried putting it into recovery mode but it doesn't work. D
Something like that happened to my blackberry but it wasn't rooted (jailbroken) it just kept getting stuck on the loadimg bar. I got mine repaired. You should call apple for advice if their advice doesn't help go get it repaired if not you'll just have to sell it and buy a new one and since you have all your data backed up you won't lose it.
- Will the MAC address of my iPhone reset if I reset my iPhone to its factory settings over iTunes? I have jailbroken my device and used terminal to change my MAC address so that I could connect to school's Wi-Fi. But when I wanted to change it to its initial number, I typed in a wrong value and it just messed up my Wi-Fi, I can't connect to Wi-Fi anymore. Wonder if resetting to factory settings would help…
