Unlocked iPhone 5 for school year abroad in Spain?
I'm going to be spending next year going to school in Spain and I really want to have a working iPhone. I've heard a lot about people buying unlocked iPhones (my friend told me a place where I could get an unlocked iPhone so that's not a problem) and then getting a Spanish SIM card. Does anyone have experience with this? I'm just really confused and I want to be sure that it would work. I really want an iPhone and not a Spanish phone.
I recently went abroad and it worked for me. Just remember, when you get a new SIM card your number will change and All your contacts will disappear unless they are saved on iTunes. Be sure to give your new numbers to family and friends
Also, you can a iPhone keyboard that has a n with the tilde, upside down question marks etc. Just Google it!
- Will my iphone 3gs work in spain and good spain phone deals? I'm from Australia and i'm going to Spain soon, and I'm just wondering if my iphone 3gs will work in Spain on the Spain network if I get a prepaid Spain simcard, do I just take out my Aussie sim and put the Spain one in, will it work? Or what do I need to do? Also, are there any good phone deals for prepaid simcards that has a lot of credit (I need data cos I'll be using Viber to ring home) and enough to last me 2 1/2 weeks that I'm in Spain without being too expensive.
