Unmasking no caller id calls- iPhone
I have a friend at my work place that is being harassed with countless phone calls. We're aware its by someone from work as he has been called in by said person for a "meeting" at work that obviously didn't exist.
I've heard of websites that allow you to unmask the numbers so instead of it saying "no caller id" the number will come up and we can report this to the manager/ police. However, they're all subscriptions and would prefer something thats free.
Would the phone provider be able to give my friend the number thats ringing him or is there another way to find out who this person is?
I guess another option might be to block anonymous calls on the iPhone but would prefer to know the number.
If you are receiving harassing phone calls, then call your phone company. Even if it is a private number, they can trace the call in most cases and file a police report for you. There are no websites that can do this, you can only do it with the help of the phone company and police.
I don't believe what you seek is possible, more urban myth than fact. You will most likely never discover the number so move on.
The simplest solution is to just block "all" anonymous calls.
You can unmask callers. Use this app. It's easy. Works with most cells. I believe it is very lost cost and you only pay for the options you select. http://www.seeblockednumber.com.
- Why do my calls show up as no caller id when I call someone? (iPhone 6)? I don't know what I did, but ever since making some prank calls recently (using *67) my calls show up as "no caller id" on other people's phones, even those who already have my number in their contacts. How can I change it back? I have an iPhone 6. 5 stars to best answer.
- What's the difference between an 'unkown' caller and 'no caller ID'? This unknown number keeps ringing me, and i thought if someone blocked their numbers (on iphones) it comes up as no caller ID so i'm not sure if it is still a blocked number or a number that can't come trhough. But when i answer nobody speaks and they've rang one of my friends so its not a scam phone call also they don't speak at all so if it was a company of some sort they must of spoken so its probably a prank call but i wanna know the difference to make sure.
- Is there NOTHING I can do about no caller ID calls? For the past few months I've been getting no caller ID phone calls now and then. Sometimes they'll call 3+ times and it's usually in the evening and has been at like gone midnight and 4am before. I've put my iPhone on do not disturb so the calls don't come through but there on my recent calls and make me anxious. I've tried a few tricks but nothing has worked. I can't believe it's 2018 and we still can't block no caller IDs?
- Is there a caller block app for iPhone? So this guy keeps calling me and texting me and I wanna block him but when I looked online it says my phone has to be jail broken to do it but is there any other way because I'm just getting annoyed because I told the guy I'm not interested and he want leave me alone.
