Usage of Apple logo in application?

We're working on an iPhone application, which allows users to put the logo of their favorite brands on their profile page. It does not make any revenue for us (not on this way anyway), but allows users to show to the other users they are committed to for example Apple/Nike/Puma/etc… Lets them express that they are real proud owner its products.

Apple website does not say clearly anything about this (says no to anything by default) as it is not an advantage for us, it is free advertisement for them and the other brands.

Question is is there any legal way to use the logo on this way, or is there any way to ask Apple about their opinion? I haven't found any contact/link to raise this question as it is not product related.

Don't do it

You need to become an APPLE supplier or you will get sued big time.

You must apply, fill out all the forms then Apple will review your info and either say yes or no. There are over a million apps. Good luck.

Below is a link to get you started.

10 points please!

There's no legal way to use anyone's logo other than to write to them and get their written permission allowing you to use their logo for the purpose specified in their legal letter.

  • Under settings on my iPhone, does the data usage include Wi-Fi usage? Because its stating a ridiculous amount and I've had my data off… And my Wi-Fi on. Does the total of data include the amount of Internet I'm using when on Wi-Fi? I'm so confused
  • Reflector Application Apple Mac? I was just wondering I'm getting a Apple MacBook Pro tommorow and I would like to download the reflector application so I can watch movies from my iOS device onto the screen. Can you make it on the screen so that it looks like it would if you had just put a DVD in your Mac and it's full screen? Because I don't want the fake iPhone frame thing I just want the screen!
  • My apple iphone 4s is sruck on the apple logo? - 1 Its been stuck there for 3 days now. It occasionally logs on passed the Apple logo but as soon as I start to do something it goes back to the apple logo and stays there.
  • IPhone: settings cell usage vs AT&T's data usage number? AT&T has a number, by calling it will send you a text message telling you how much usage you have used on your data. But also in the iPhone there's a cellular usage count in the settings app which also tells how much data you have used. Both of my cellular usage counts are different. Which is right?
