Verizon iPhone 5 A1429 unlocked?

Ok, so i bought an iPhone 5 with Verizon and used it for a while. Recently I switched over to T-Mobile, and was told that my iPhone could actually be used on T-Mobile by a friend.
Does anyone know if iPhone 5 model A1429 is unlocked? Meaning I could use it on another network?

A 5 purchased from Big Red will have to be unlocked by asking Big Red and they will send request to Apple for unlock. Big Red and Sprint use CDMA signals while Tmobile and ATT use GSM. If the phone is in good standing not lost/stolen this typically isn't a problem. The unlock will let the device be able to use the GSM signal receiver in it so you can take to Tmobile for activation along with a new SIM card.

I'm trying to downgrade my iPhone 5 A1429 but every ipsw I download iTunes says isn't compatible A1429 model is a gsm+CDMA model but I asked apple what my phone was and they said CDMA but I can't find a Ipsw that works for it and iTunes accepts it I'm running iOS 7.1.2 and want it in the iOS 6 i've tried many ipsw or firmwares and none have worked please help!
