What are some numbers for directory assistance in Australia?
Used to simply dial 013 until it was replaced with a number I have never been able to remember.
I was with vodafone for awhilethat had their own number for directory assistance I think. Can't remember and it maybe only works with vodafone… I use Boost that maybe have their own number?
Yellowpages used to have a number but looking at their website they don't seem to anymore.
Other numbers I think are iPhone only… I use android.
If I were stuck in the middle of nowhere and needed towing or soething I really wouldn't have a clue how to get a number.
Could someone please give me some options please?
The national directory assistance service is 1223. You can access this number through all phones, but charges vary according to your mobile phone company.
If you were travelling to the "middle of nowhere" you would be silly to do it without any sort of roadside assistance package like RACV. You just call the insurance company if you need help, and it doesn't cost much per year to get that coverage.

If you're in the middle of nowhere chances are you won't have mobile reception. Telstra has the widest coverage.
