What are some of the differences between the iPhone 4 and 4S?
I've been thinking of getting a smartphone for quite a while now.
My mind's been set on an iPhone. I'm not getting a 5 because it's new, I hear there's hardly any difference between that and 4S and it's expensive too.
My mum found a good deal on the iPhone 4, half the price of a 4S. I've been thinking about it, but to furrther help me in this decision, what are some of the differences?
See an iPhone 4 and 4S, design wise are identical except for the vibrate switch which is slightly lower on the 4S and new the 4S has new antenna positions. The 4 has a 5 MP camera with flash and the 4S has an 8 MP camera with flash. I thought it would have no difference but having owned both phones I can tell you the 4S camera is really an improvement. Both phones have equal display size and display clarity of 920 X 640. The 4S has a faster A5 chip which is great for playing high resolution games. The 4S has Siri which is a virtual assistant who is very helpful.
Now the 4S seems to be winning but, if you don't play games on your phone and don't take many pictures I would see no problem with you going for an iPhone 4. But if you like to play games, take pictures and have easier access to things through voice command definitely go for the 4S
