What can I do with a Broken/open Iphone 3gs?
I gave my mum a refurbed iphone 3gs for her bday last year and for some reason it has mysteriously come apart. It is a genuine iphone, but the screen has lifted up, the whole screen unit part. I don't know if she's dropped it for this to happen, but there are no cracks or anyhting in the screen, it's just sitting open, i can push it down to close, but the little connections underneath won't chose unless an apple technician or someone does it I guess…
what are the options? Are there any? Do i just sell it on ebay for spare parts? Like I say, it's in good condition… It's just open and therefore won't work/switch on.

Most likely, Apple could give you an estimate of what it would cost to repair the phone. The alternative would be selling it for parts.
