What do i need to do to get this to work?
For Christmas i'm thinking of buying a Toshiba 40L1353B 40 inch tv (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Toshiba-40L1353B-40-inch-1080p-Freeview/dp/B00B1C87C4/
I also already own a Logitech surround sound speaker set that connects through audio jack, similar to the one that connect headphones into iPhones.
I was wondering if it would work if i plugged the speakers into this tv and work. If not, is the anyway to make it work. + i'm open to anyone making a suggestion on what tv this would work on.
p.s. I'm NOT GOOD WITH THIS TYPE OF THING!
Your Logitech speakers WON'T work with that TV. If you really want to use your current speakers you need a TV with an analogue audio out not just a digital.
That is a nice TV, not only is it 1080p but it can play NTSC and SECAM so if you had a US game system or one from Japan it would play the video fine and finding a power converter for game system is just a matter of buying one locally.
You'd be better off getting a TV first then buying a sound bar like this one http://www.amazon.com/...00E5Z44X0/ because any newer TV will have the one or both digital outs that can run it.
