What does 'icloud locked' mean?
I'm interested in an iPhone for sale but it says icloud locked in bold. Does this mean anything and if so can I fix it or should I just not buy it?
ICloud lock means that someone factory reset the iPhone but didn't sign out of their Apple account. When you turn on the iPhone it will ask for the Apple ID and password of the previous owner before you can complete setting up the phone. There's no legal way to bypass this. Don't buy the iPhone.
Referring to iCloud Activation Lock where the phone would prevent activation by requiring the Apple ID & password of the registered owner. Usually this happens in the case of a lost or stolen iPhone. So yes, avoid. You can't get this removed.
It means the phone is iCloud locked and the seller is not the original owner of the phone, it can be stolen or found. Avoid.
