What does it mean if a guy takes ages to respond to a text?
I'm getting to know a guy that I think may like me. I like him too, so of course I'm at that stage where I'm over-analyzing everything! We have iPhones and when we text, I'm able to see when he has 'seen' the text message. He must have this setting feature turned on. He takes hours to respond to my texts, yet I can see when he has received and read them hours earlier. If he has read my message, why not respond more quickly? Could he unsure of what to say? Or maybe he doesn't want to appear too eager? Might he not like me?
He probably choosing his words carefully so he won't sound bad lol
I'm in the same thing kinda. But with my boyfriend. Just wait to see how long it takes for him to reply. I know it's hard to wait but you don't want to over text him and bother him. There's no way to tell if he likes you or not just by that
I think he might not be sure what to say or he does not want to sound stupid.
Could be any of those things actually. I have a habit of doing that on my facebook. I'll see a reply on my FB and sometimes I don't answer it right away. I will look at the message and respond right away, wait till later, or can't think of anything to say so I just leave it be.
It could be the same in your case. The guy you are texting could be like me and will respond when he feels like it (if he feels like it), or is just plain doing something else at the moment. I wouldn't take it to heart that much.

At least he does reply. The big no-no is if he reaches a stage where he ignores your message altogether claiming "not" to be a "talkative" guy, not even to congratulate you on a job he had rudely told you to go get so you can get a life and stop messaging him so much, which is exactly what happened to me once. At least he DOES reply.glass is half full.

- My iPhone 3 is taking ages to charge? My friend just gave me her old iPhone 3.It has been working OK - however, when I've been trying to charge it, the phone recodnises it has been plugged in as the battery idon has a lightning bolt through it. However it is taking so long to charge! I don't know what is wrong with it - I've tried two chargers. I don't want to pay loads for a new battery! Can't get a free new one as my friend bought it on amazon.
